Skid loaders with holes in the frame? I think I was looking at a 320 or 325, 2009 model year? The tanks are white nylon or other plastic. There are holes in the frame right behind the rear wheels, and under the machine. Looked like a never ending tank puncture repair program. To replace the tanks would require major surgery for removal and installation. The factory engineer said if I bought a machine, my dealer could weld plates over the holes at my expense. The holes under the machine were to allow access to the drain plugs in the tanks He said the dealer could put access plugs in the plates they would weld on. I would think welding on the machine would melt the tanks. The drain plugs would quickly be torn off the tanks in rocks, mud or the woods. Sound like SSL territory? Why should I have to pay to armor plate a new machine? The engine coolant drain belongs on the block, not the water pump like on the Deeres. I was mad at my 885 NH, so I told the New Holland engineers my next machine would be a Deere. After looking at the Deeres, I decided the NH was the lesser of the two evils.:confused2: I would buy a Bobcat before a Deere, at least they won't bleed to death.
