HELP, I have this tractor that has nothing electrical going on, hour meter works that's it. Brand new battery, can spin motor by starter solenoid. Is there any fusible links in the wiring harness??? My customer washed it last year, with a garden hose, while the engine was running and it died. I have ohm checked ALL SAFETY SWITCHES(ALL GOOD), CHECKED ALL GROUNDS (ALL GOOD). I am a automotive mechanic by trade, just need a schematic for the wiring which I can't find. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

G'day Mate and welcome to TBN from Downunder.

Is the parking brake engaged & locked? (brake [L-foot pedal fully depressed] lifted 'orange handle' to lock)

1 leg of the starter solenoid will be a ground when all the safeties are on line, the other 12 volts when the key is activated. My bet is that something in the safety line is what failed if it quit whilst being washed. Check when the PTO is off that the paddle is hitting the switch and the brake switch is being depressed. You meant it cranks when you cross the 2 large solenoid terminals?

Yes it cranks when jumped across the 2 terminals. PTO is off, and brake pedal is depressed.

Perhaps this will help find a manual: Product Manuals & Support '|' Briggs & Stratton

Off hand I can only think of 1 fuse for my D110, which is under the bonnet.

I had a slightly similar starting problem (about 6 months ago) and, yes, I'd power-washed it. I ran jumper cables from my running utes battery and the D110 fired back up right away... just needed a bit extra 'umph!' I've only ever had to do that the once.

Found the problem the PTO SWITCH WAS NOT SITTING flat when not engaged, i.e pto off when starting the tractor.

Yay! :cool2:

Was it a 'vibration fault' or some sort of corrosion caused by the hose washing?

The cheap plastic clip that holds the switch to the shelf( if you wanna call it that) is weak. Now how to fix it permanently!
