ATLANTIC TRACTOR SALES in Oxford PA is a great store, I usually deal with Joe, but all the sales staff, and parts people have been great! Bought my 4300 and many implements from them and will buy all my next tractors from them. Owen.

K. C. Canary in Fultonville NY is the Best. Bought my 4310 in 2002 and have had nothing but a great experience with them in both sales (Mark Brucker) and service (Jason Cook). My experience with the local JD dealer has been mixed at best. I tried to buy a 2003-4 model 4610 that had been on the lot for a year just prior to the '20 series model debut and could only get 10% off the MSRP. I walked... I've since bought a '94 JD970 and purchased pretty close to $1k in parts and pieces from them. They haven't offered me a discount on anything and lately nicked me over a piddly shipping cost. But the one salesmen is knowledgeable and the mechanics are top drawer. If you can get the mechanics off to the side when management isn't around they'll give you the straight poop! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif AKfish

I had an ok purchase transaction from the JD dealer in New Bedford, MA, but ever since, they've messed up sales and deliveries of attachments, scheduling appointments, etc. The final straw was when they promised to send a mechanic to look at a hookup problem I was having, "he'll be there tomorrow, he'll be there today before noon", etc., but he never showed, and they never called to see if things worked out...its time to buy a trailer and haul it elsewhere. If I spend $25k at a store I want better support.

owner/manager is the person to see. He has given me good
prices over the past years ( I have alway cross check him against other JD dealers). There sevice dept. is one of the best in my book too.

I'm real happy with my dealer: Carmichael Equipment in Barboursville, WV
They came out to the farm on short notice (40 minute drive) and fixed a leaky front wheel hub seal. The tech gave me lots of info and long discussion. When he got back to the shop he mentioned to the salesman (Stuart(apparently they took time to discuss my situation)) that my hydraulic fluid was low and Stuart sent me a five gallon jug of JD fluid UPS that arrived the next day. . . no charge. . . along with a handy dandy JD "clean funnel."
They also beat four other dealers on price for my 5205 with frt end loader, 6' tiller and 6' brush hog.
