John Deere engine

I have the oppurtunity to buy a Lull forklift very cheap, that has a bad engine. I was told it was a 4239 John Deere diesel. The forklift is a Lull highlander 644. It was built around 1986 I beleive. Does anyone know of a decent source to buy a used or rebuilt engine? Thanks in advance

You might want to hold onto your shorts when you see the price! But, solid-gold warranty and parts support and it gives you a starting point on comparing prices, service, etc. etc.

I have had great luck with Bell Power system in Essex CT. I don't know where you live but they can give you some advise.
