Developing. I have a bunch of spare parts and little idea left behind.

Not to worry... You'll be surprised how fast those 'spare parts' will find themselves into other 'ideas'!!

I'm buying a new 2014 JD 3033R w/ cab, H165 FEL, and 375a BH. I thought it would be nice to have hydraulics to the front to be able to angle a hydraulic plow from the cab. I was quoted a port to the back (EH Third SCV) for $1212 and was told I'd also need a "Line Kit" for $620. Seems super expensive?

Sounds high. I bought a JD4105 recently, with the same H165, and I added a third SCV for a grapple. They charged me $2K for an AV-20H grapple, and that included all the work for the 3rd SCV, plus the new control stick that can handle the 3rd SCV. I'm not sure what the grapple is worth, but probably mid-teens. So $1800+ JUST for the 3rd SCV sounds high.

My problem is that my tools are currently spread out over 300 miles at three different places. The computer controlled plasma and 10' table is north of Detriot Lakes, my heavy tools are in storage near Park Rapids, and my hand tools are largely down in the Twin Cities—which is to say, I have a harder time going on a creative, fabbing bender. Complicating things is that I'm now setting up my Real Estate Brokerage and getting ready to list my city house while managing my 88-year-old mother's expectations and two big dogs (it's scary moving old people, and they let you know about it, often).

Which is why it is going to take me more time than usual to bring my kit to market.

Yes it is but at 0% it's $31.00 more a month and a warranty. It was worth it for me. I'm doing my3033R order now but with out a BH.

I had a Kubota L3130, and for small money I had a set of coupler installed on the loader bucket tilt circuit: I could raise and lower the loader/plow, and angle the blade. On our new L3400, I installed hydraulic hoses and coupler from my rear remotes to the front of the loader arms, 12' hoses, with fittings at each end and mounting blocks, all for less than $100. JD is hosing you at that price, I would guess.
