First thing I would do is check the temp with a IR probe and make sure it really is overheating. Second, as said, you have to mix the antifreeze and water prior to pouring it in with a thermo syphon sysytem, or it wont circulate. Third, I guess you already looked, are the shutters closed.....
On my 48 B I can run 20 minutes pulling a load before it gets up to 200 degreese , if yours is over heating very fast I would suspect maybe a head gasket probelm.
