John Deere mdl 71 flex planter plates

Looking for the right size of planter plate for NK 199 sweet corn for flex 71 planter, look on web sites no listing, seed dealers no luck. Was going to order some seed but if cant find plate size will have go to different seed type.
Any ideas?

Then it really is a dilemma for you. Seems the onus is on the seed dealer/producer to match up their seed with a planter that will plant it. Or they are a bit out on a limb for selling much seed.
Don't know, but they must grade that seed for a certain size to sort out the ones too large or too small.

The seed company usually provides that information and it's printed on the bag. They will give the seed plate number as well as the next size larger.
