John Deere Planters

Working a small hobby farm and would like to find either the attachments to fit a John Deere Flex 71 to plant small vegetable seeds like Collards or a pair of John Deere 33 planters. I live in the low country of SC and have not been able to locate what I am looking for in this area. All help is appreciated.

I guess ebay would be one spot. You could also ask the folks at YTMAG, some of them might know. Another is a dealer on here Messicks is one, and there are a couple others who might be able to help. What you are seeking is a antique implement, and a lot didn't survive.

Thanks, I know it is old stuff, but old stuff can still work if you can find it in good working order.(Wink) My Cole Duplex double hopper planters work good for large seed. I think they used to be pulled by Mules. I will try to contact the Messicks folks tomorrow.

Try best outdoors out of Clare Michigan, there online, they have reconditioned 71 planters, so they would have to have a parts resource. Have you tried your local Deere dealer? There is a lot of that old stuff still available they deere! LUTT
