You have to take dyno tests with a grain of salt. Depending on how many HP they are designed to test they can have a pretty large margin of error. I have heard of some odd results when testing small tractors with our 300Hp+ Dyno's.

I also own a load cell. I've tested a handful of tractors of different makes and for the most part each one has tested almost spot on its MFG rating. There is some variation because the relief preasures can be different, but for the most part what they spec is what you should expect.

Yes still running around! Kyle we have been in a drought and our hay has been horrible. Last 300 acre field I did we usually get 900-1200 bales off of it. We got 87 on third cutting. We sold off a bunch of cows this month as we are going to be really short on hay and it's going to be higher than heck this winter.

Richard, I expect that shortage to exist lots of places. Our area is about 7" of rain behind for the year, and now out northwest of the Dallas area, they're having flooding. The rain just isn't getting distributed right this year. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Sorry to hear about your hay woes. We have only had less than 2.5" of rain at my place since early June. 5 miles from here has had over 10" in the same period. So some spots have plenty of hay and others not much. I haven't had enough to warrant fertilizing.

Are you getting decent money for your cattle? They are still going for good money down here.

Bird we've been declared a disaster area. We've been in a drought since June.

Kyle cattle prices have been great. We got $1.45 for calves. Our bred cows went for $1778 average for the unregistered ones. We sold a bunch at a big registered sale and they averaged $4320 for bred heifers and $3640 for bred cows.
