John Deere Seat coming apart

I have a GTX 235 lawn mower whose seat is coming unglued from the from. How and what kind of aheasive would work on this? A new seat is over $200.00!

Welcome to TBN. How old is the unit, could it still be under warranty? Maybe something like liquid nails (test on a small area first, it may eat up the foam or cover). Good luck.

I went to a local auto seat upholstery store where I purchased some vinyl glue which has held my seat together for a couple of years now. The stuff was called HH-66, made by R-H Products Co Acton, Mass.

They make generic replacement seats and covers that match nearly every seat they just don't have the logo. Tractor Supply is a good starting point.

The seat on my 235 is also coming apart along the black back. I tried some kind of adhesive in a tube but it didn't work too well. Let me know if the above stuff works.
