It seems Kubota has really stepped up their advertising. I noticed that in Progressive Farmer magazine, Mid-December "Special Farmstead Issue", Kubota ran 6 - two page adds and 6 - full page adds.

There were no other adds at all and not even any pictures of other brands in the articles.

I bet someone was green with envy over that.

I received a FLYER in the mail from JOHN DEERE wanting me to trade-in my qualifying KUBOTA on a 5E SERIES or 5M SERIES JOHN DEERE has any body else received this also?

Got mine in yesterday. Straight to the burning barrel with the rest of the junk mail.

No my tractor isn't registered. I guess my point is SOMEBODY is giving Deere our names and addresses and tractor information because the offers are for different tractors based on what you currently own. My offer doesn't say Kubota it just says "special" trade in offer. (I own an LS)

It might be interesting to learn how they are getting this info. The only common denominator we have is probably financing, could that be how they are doing it?

Yea, that's all based on UCC registrations. Its also pretty easy to get ahold of as dealer. We know everything that you own

Trade my Kubota for a John Deere.......why would I want to go backwards?? LOL.

A large JD dealer near here used to have a 30 ish? HP new Kubota in the lot for sales purposes. Now. on the door in I see a print out comparison sheet of a Kubota and Deere explaining features and benefits of both tractors. I think Deere has given away a big chunk of the small tractor market and is now figuring they better do something, especially since Kubota is making inroads into other segments of the market that Deere perceives to be their exclusive property. Just my two cents here.

That explains why I'm not on anyone's mailing list.

I bought my BX tlb brand new and last year Kubota was offering a loyalty bonus when buying a new Kubota... never got the flyer and only knew about it from Tractor by Net.

Contacted Kubota and Kubota was kind enough to verify my purchase and extend the offer to me so I bought a second new Kubota...

I'm thinking cash buyers are left out of a lot of promotional stuff compared to those that finance?

I have two Deeres that were also bought cash and never have received any Deere material...
