Tractor
JD 2320; 4520
I was looking on the dealer site at my friend's dealership today and saw that JD is going to release an articulated tractor soon. It will have a 21 hp air cooled Lombardini diesel and four wheel drive. In its narrowest configuration, it will be just 40" wide, but will likely have a spacer kit and dual wheel options if needed. The promotion stated it would be good for hill work also, so I wonder if it will compete directly with Steiner and Ventrac and Powertrac for this market. Our local hospital has two Steiners and they spend a lot of shop time getting belts done, etc. Supposedly this machine from JD will have shaft drive to all attachments. It looked pretty neat. I am sorry I cannot download the picture.

I found them!!! They are Goldoni's. Just look at the Base 20, paint it JD green and that is the machine.

I'm not sure if they will be Goldoni (I honestly don't know so jcmseven may be right). Here is the official Goldoni site:

sklunk,

The tractor I saw on the dealer website is EXACTLY like the Goldoni machine, from the look to the specs.

Please look at the last page on the Goldoni brochure. It says "supplier to John Deere since 1986." Kind of gives it away. I am curious, though, where are the attachments??? Surely, one would not buy one of these machines just to pull a little tiller around, or would one???

One of the local dealers (not JD) had a (think it was) Ventrac like this on the showroom floor. Looks very nice: 3ph & FEL, flex in the middle, low in height. Its minimum engine size for diesel was about 35. Nice to see that JD is making a smaller engine one (for fuel economy, and most of us don't need more hp).

Definitely Goldoni -- here is candersen10's page translated (click on "Specifications" to see the Goldoni model numbers):
