Great job. I like others here thought that you really didn't have a problem, but you kept on it and solved the issue that you saw.

I had some sources off the forums that thought over 15V wasn't really an issue, and then others that thought it would lead to battery gassing, extra heat into the PTO clutch, possibly reduced life on light bulbs. Best I can guess is that my voltage was on the low end of risk for those items. However I still didn't like that it was outside the spec. Really glad I found the issue. Was able to get back to leaf cleanup this past weekend which was great. My first time picking up leaves with the PowerFlow bagger. Was really impressed how well it picks up leaves without the additional mower deck baffles.

Do you bag your grass also? I would imagine you'd need a front weight kit or something if you did, 14 bushel is quite the capacity. I know the GX335 gets a little light in the front with the 7 bushel bagger with the grass I occasionally collect for compost pile. I couldn't imagine doubling the amount of capacity without front weights. Leaves are no big deal.

Actually when I bought it, it came with 2 baggers. The JD 14 bushel 3 bag, and a Protero PV212 9.5 bushel clamshell. I've only ever used the clamshell for it's convenience of not having to get off the tractor. I have never had a weight issue with the front end due to the weight of the grass / leaves. The mower doesn't really mulch down the leaf volume, so if anything I'd say a full load of plain grass is much heavier.
