Hello my name is John. I am new to online ordering as it is getting harder to find parts local anymore. I own just shy of 110 acres of land in which I keep about 12 heads of cattle and a 300 x 500 foot garden as hobbies. The majority of my land is woods as I try to keep it hunter ready for my sons and grandchildren. I saw this forum and thought I would give it a try as way to learn new information and help others out. Thank you and have a good day :D:D:D

Welcome to TBN & the forum. My, that is a BIG garden. The thought of weeding a garden that big - my back muscles already ache.

:welcome: to TBN John... enjoy.

Welcome buddy.

What kind of parts are you hunting for?

Most of the parts I order online are lawn mower parts, since there is so many out there most the parts I hunt for are found on amazon, bought JD and Husqvarna mower parts on there.

Generic stuff comes from advance, Walmart on fluids, they generally have the best price on oils etc.

Good Morning & Welcome!! This is a great site, lots of info here.

General maintenance parts, blades for my bush hog, and blades for my tiller (the dirt here has too many rocks). I am sick of my local Walmart because their service is terrible anymore. The Advanced store in town is still solid but their prices are a bit much at times.

Lol.. I think we ALL KNOW about bad service & hi prices..Lol
The internet is your best friend for "shopping around".. I'm STILL a hands-on kinda guy, when it comes to buying parts tho..
I've been know to> GO TO the store, find what I need, PICK IT UP, inspect it, write down the P# & go home & do my "shopping"..Lol
I do support "local" vendors when I can, but price seems to dictate anymore.. if we're talkin a few dollars, sure I'm buyin' local..
BUT if we're talkin 50.. then I'm goin' surfin;.. Lol
Theres always gonna be "that web site" that'll rip you off tho.. but they're getting few & far between in my experience..

That is a good idea, I have been thinking about ordering some new disc blades from this site called Quality Farm. Here is their link qualityfarmsupply.com . From what I can tell they have pretty good prices and are not ridiculous on shipping. I am also looking Agri Supply, agrisupply.com , and Sloan , sloanex.com . Have any experience with them?
