OK, seriously considering a JD 2305 tractor with a 200CX loader. Does anyone have a link to the specs for this loader??? JD's site appears worthless for this. I found specs in the manual that was online for the tractor, but can't find anything of use for the loader.

Thanks in advance, everyone...

Nice tractor. Your workmanship on the customizations looks almost totally stock and your BX2200 still looks brand new.

I am also considering either a JD 2305 or 2320. At this point, I am leaning toward the 2320 which won't be available until spring. The extra ground clearance, hydraulic capacity, folding ROPS and the drive-over 62D MMM deck are leaning me to the 2320.

Using 200CX loader on a 2320, I would expect the lift capacity to be nearly the same as the document shows for the 2520 since the two tractors have the same hydraulic pressure. I would assume the loader cycle times would be more in line with the 2305 since the hydraulic flow is a bit more than the 2305 but considerably less than the 2520.

I am curious to know how the 200CX specs compare to the loader on your BX2200?

Cheers,

Woody

Thanks for the compliments! Actually, I had to sell off the BX2200 early last year when I got divorced, to pay off her debts. Now that I'm back on my feet, I'm looking to get a real tractor back. Im considering both the JD2305/200CX and the Kubota BX2350/LA243. The specs are interesting...the breakout is much higher on the JD, but lift capacity to full height is better on the BX as is the loader speed.

I like the removable bucket on the JD as well as the 3pt configuration. The BX seems to have the advantage on the overall cockpit layout, loader speed and the reverse airflow design, which I appreciated in the summer (I didn't have to stop and get off the tractor to clean the chaff off the radiator screen, just leaned over and wiped it off while running)

I have two decent dealers within a 15 minute drive, one each for JD and Kubota. Oh, tha agony!!! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Either way, I'll have a great platform for making mods, something I enjoy doing immensely. I actually enjoyed doing the mods as much as running the thing. First up will be a homemade canopy and light system. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
