If you buy a 5610 TC, then consider a rear finish mower. Much cheaper than BC's front mower. However, if you do a lot of mowing, the front mower is much easier to see and run than a RFM. I also have an 84" rhino RFM that works as nice as the front BC mower.

On the BC finish mower, I disconnected the automatic shut off on the mower. If you raise the mower more than a few inches, it will automatically disengage the hydraulics. PITA if you ask me.

Good points......thanks

i have a woods 72 inch rear finish mower a 5 foot standard brush hog and a 7 foot offset brush hog "squealer" twin rotor - - -i ran all 3 of these attachments on a TC33 Boomer CUT - - i should be able to run them easily on a 5610 ....no?

The 5610 is rated at 25 pto hp. That will be it's max and it is all downhill as a greater load is applied. A CUT with 25 pto hp (at operating rpm near 2400-2500) will seem greater. As the CUT engine undergoes a load, the torque and pto hp will actually increase to around 1700-1800 rpms, below that it will also lose torque and hp to the pto. Thus, the CUT will power through the tough spots and the hydraulic pto hp of the TC will just keep decreasing until the pto just stops. This is very noticeable when I run my 3 pt tiller on my TC compared to my CUT or any other attachment that is working in tough conditions. The TC33 has 29.6 pto hp. It will out perform The pto of the TC in all condtions.

However, for finish mowing I do not have any issues with having enough power with either the CUT or TC. On the TC if the mower begins to bog down, the quality of the cut is poor so I need to go slower anyway. In most cases the pto of the TC will probably have more power to the rear attachment because the rear pto uses the hi-flow of 27 gpm. Many front attachments for the TC (ie finish mower, tiller ect) use the standard flow rate of 21 gpm and don't utilize hi-flow. However, some attachments such as snow blower, stump grinder and few others can be ordered as hi-flow.

I use a 6' landpride rotary mower and 84" rhino finish mower on the rear of my TC. My mowing is light to moderate. It seems to run it just fine. I do not like running my 6' tiller on my TC in tough, hard soil. It can do it but I have to go much slower, occassionally stop and raise the 3 pto slightly to restart the tiller. The TC motor (56hp) hardly even notices that the rear tiller has stopped.

interesting.....i guess i just assumed the TC with 56 hp would have a greater PTO capability .....so is the PTO system basically the same as buying a PTO plate from skid steer accessories for the front of a standard skidsteer? theyre rated in the 25 hp range on a hyflow system

There could be minimal differences in efficiency of the pto motors but basically, that is true. The TC pto is a hydraulic motor with a pto shaft on the output shaft.

When I talked with BC developers of the TC, they initially considered trying a direct drive pto from the motor but thought it would be too expensive and complex at that time. Maybe in the future? The initial prototype had standard flow hydraulics with 20 pto hp. I strongly suggested they needed 25 pto hp min.
