Greetings, I'm John from Marietta, GA I have 2010 John Deere LA115 riding mower. This is second JD rider I've owned. In late 70's I rebuilt one in Monroe, CT for caring of a 1 1/4 acre lot. Here we have a 2 acre lot and I think this is just about all the LA115 can handle. Fortunately it is flat.
I grew up in farmland in central Ohio and first drove a JD Model B at 7-8 years old. Couldn''t start it (manual start using flywheel) but could get it going with manual clutch.
I am a retired facility engineer and avid car nut having a 68 Buick GS 400 and 89 Buick Estate wagon that I am continually restoring or modifying. I look forward to the forum Q&A here to further my mechanical knowledge.
