joystick boot

tc35dforme, I have a late "03" TC40D that I bought new in March "04" and my rabbit -turtle switch wires are run inside the boot and come out from under the plastic housing near the floor board. I don't know if I have the the new joy stick control since I haven't taken the time to check and see. When did they come out with the newly designed joy stick?

I got the new style in July of '03. Its a pretty obvious change. Remove the handle ( philips screws ) and look at the steel riser piece. If the curved part that the handle screws into is a semi circular piece ( like a pipe cut in half lengthwise )....you have the new and improved part. If the curved piece is more like a bent piece of flat stock making about a 120 degree arc, then it's the older style.

Stonefox you'll know which style you have right away if yours breaks. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif I would bet money that you have the new style though.
