As the title says, my dad's Jubilee's lift works up and down with the lever as it should, no shaking stopping or hesitations. However, I only have a draw bar and welded receiver hitch on the 3 pt and that's about all it can raise. If I hop on the the drawbar attachment, it can't lift my paltry 225lbs(ok, 230).
As mentioned in previous post I think on this machine, he bought it at an auction, drove it to my house which was right down the street from auction and parked it. Life happened and he just didn't get back to it to work it over and I'm trying to help out.
Well, the hydraulic sump was about 2 gallons overfilled with fluid and it had a coffee with creamer appearance...not like a frothy coolant in oil mixture appearance just like coffee with creamer is best I can do(see first pic).
Drained it and refilled to correct level on the stick with TSC Traveller premium Hydro fluid. From what I've found online it takes 8qts for the Hydraulics on the Jubilee and that's what I did at first. It barely registered on bottom of dipstick. Started it ran it and worked lever up/down a few times, lift was shaky and hesitant. Shut off let it cool down a little and settle, fluid still barely showed on stick. So I had to put more fluid in to get it up to the level and not sure right now how much but it might even be another 2-4 qts. Anyway, after topping up, the lift doesn't shake or hesitate but still will not lift my weight. So, I'll post some pics of the top plate and pump etc as I think this has a setup on the top plate this is a little more than standard and if I'm correct it has an extra handle on the PTO lever side that is an extra feature.
