I just got done cleaning out a large enough space in my shop, so the new toy will be nice and safe after it is delivered. My shop isn't big enough to park the tractor with the 6' rotary cutter attached, so I will have to find a place for the cutter, but it will probably fit with the box blade on it.

Nice to have a heated shop to work in during the winter months.

If you have not had a tractor before you might be like I was when I bought my first one. My thought were exactly as follows: "Why haven't I done this years ago!!!" Even my wife agreed that it was money well spent.

I imagine you will be able to find a lot of stuff to do on 30 acres. Congrats and enjoy

I agree, it is hard for me to get my head around the numbers I have spent but you sure forget them quickly once you start working on your place. Real nice package! I have a similar tractor in the L39. If you didn't have it done, filling the tires with liquid ballast greatly improves stability and traction. If your doing much dirt work with the loader then a tooth bar is the first accessory to invest in. Both of those options really optimize the tractors ability.

The tractor and attachments were dropped off about an hour ago. If the rain would stop I might even be able to use it.

Thats new iron, we all know the rain will not stop you. Just drive her around and make mud to clean up with the fel when the rain stops. :D

Finally got to use the new tractor for about 1.5 hours today. First impressions are good overall. The rotary cutter allowed me to mow a pasture that use to take 2-3 hours in just over an hour. Plenty of power, and the HST is SWEET.

The engine puts a lot of heat out on your feet and lower legs, which will be OK when it is cooler out, but when it is in the upper 80's or low 90's is a little anoying.

I will have to trim a number of trees, since this tractor is a lot taller than the lawn tractor I was using previously.

I'm looking forward to putting a couple hundred hours on the machine, and getting a true idea of its capabilities.

Yes that engine heat is annoying, it makes my ac work hard!
