Junkie truck for plowing?

For occasional plowing, you can't beat a "beater wit a heater".

I just chuckle to myself when you see guys hang a plow off a 50K diesel truck to plow a driveway or 2.

The frame looks good. No batteries in it. If I decide to pursue, he will have to provide at least test batteries so that we can drive it and test plow. Coolant is just a little low. Oil looked normal for a deisel. Floorboards not good at all. seat is ragged. BAck fenders not so good. This thing spent some years on his farm I think. Could be fun to make a simple flat bed for it. Tires pretty decent for plowing. The thing seems decent mechanically, but ragged cosmetically. Perfect! Might test it out. My wife saw a 53 Chevy in the paper though. I might get trumped on this one. She has wanted an oldie for a long time. Not much good for work though.

We run older but 3/4 tons, bronco's and blazers always a cheap old truck that runs good but paid for.

I laught my a&@ off when I see these guys with the new high dollar trucks and letting $10hr help plow with them. Then the week after a snow I always see them lined up behind the dealer to get fixed.
