The scarry part is, I was really slow on the first couple words because I was concentrating. After that, I just read it like normal, at probably about 75%-80% of my normal reading rate.

I remember seeing this research a couple months ago when it popped up on the 'net. Pretty amazing stuff.

And coming back around to the original subject, I think I will weigh all service people who come out to my house. They weigh in when they come- weigh out when they leave. Any purloined propane, electrons, diesel fuel, or salt licks will be detected, and the perpetrator will be dealt with accordingly!

I guess I'm just confused. It sounds like your saying it's ok if you share a unpleasant experience but if another poster shares a similar experience it should be moderated ! /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif I did not mention any specific nationality and was sharing my frustrations about those who try to manipulate situations. Yes in this case my neighbor used the "language barrier". Please remember I did mention that they speak fluent English.
My experience had little to do with nationality and everything to do with personality. Sorry if you or anyone else was offended. I find it just as unpleasant that a business owner would use the forum to disparage a confused customer.

I suggest that anyone who has the time to look down on others, try speaking THEIR LANGUAGE to them...and see how well YOU do.

Not to start anything,But this is the United States of America and this country was founded on the basics of English.
I should not have to learn a foreign lanuage to communicate with other people in this country.
Have you travelled to other countries they make a good faith effort to afford english but in a real bind,you speak their lanuage,they do not catter to YOU because you do not speak THEIR LANUAGE.Why should we? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
