Found a leftover 2018 ZD1511 72 SD at a good price.

0% & 60 was a no brainer.

I mowed the front yard tonight before the bottom fell out raining.

Hope the Regen Mess works out ok as I mow 8+ hrs a week

I’m trying to load pix ......

Congratulations! I have a Kubota tractor with regen syatem. I have 250 hours on it and only know of a couple times it regened and that was due to smell and looked at light while keeping on working. Sure it has probably done more regens but just never noticed. I do look at regen lights before turning the tractor off. I also run the tractor at near full throttle, has a mark on tach, all the time after quick warm up. never cut rpms even if getting off the machine. I understand keeping exhaust hot and at high rpms is main way for it to burn off exhaust "stuff". Just my experience and method of operation and outcome.

Thanks JT.
My thoughts exactly.
I mow at WOT at all times 2-4daz a week.

I just thought my ZD1211 3cyl was smooth until I mowed with this ZD1511 4cyl Turbo Engine.

I’m Loving it

I’m going to do the blade holder boss mod so I can run
1-1/8” center hole Oregon 1/4” thick blades on this ACS SD deck.
Plus that’ll be the same blades I’m running on my RD Deck.

Which blades are you running on your RD DECK ? Oem ?

Reason I ask is I did the blade boss modification on my 72 side discharge and bought some 1 1/8” center blades from non acs model. The blade width is a lot narrower and I noticed after about 4 hours of mowing a flat nice yard the blades seemed to be flexing/bending up and down a lot
Every year I check my deck level, Well was having a hard time with inconsistent measurements and then realized the blades were not true and bent slightly. Ended up putting stock blades back until I find another 1 1/8 center blade that won’t do this.

In a vise you can flex the older non acs blades by hand where the oem 1211 acs blades you cannot

When you buy the Kubota mulching kit it includes blades when you get tired of having to work your mowing direction to keep down the windrows, want to mow close with both sides of your deck and get tired of grass/dirt/dust blowing on you. :D:thumbsup::cool2: I like mowing pattern and direscction as the mood hits me so I sometimes circle trees for several circles and then take off diagonal direction and some times side to side and then do some front to back and hard to do with that grass piling up out the side.:drink:a

I don’t think mulching would work in my application as my THICK grass gets 8-10” Tall around the farm.

I have unbelievable amount of clippings.

If / when I can mow before it gets that high : it’d probably work
