Maybe because the skidsteers and SSQA was always much more popular over there? Don't really have a definite answer. It's so much safer and I kinda wish it would be the standard, not only from ease of use but also from a safety standpoint.

I've seen so many stories all over the internet from people that almost got injured because the attachment came out or they broke/bent/ripped a bunch of stuff on their machines.

With the Euro QA, you can forget to latch it and pretty much dump all the way and the attachment will still stay attached to the loader, unless you hit a massive bump that would cause the attachment to jump out.

Another great feature some loaders with the Euro QA offer is the spring actuated auto latch. Once the attachment sits right, it will auto latch. You only need to unlatch manually to take it off.

If you are going to make one, consider the extra self-leveling pieces. It will give your forks a better way of working.

That's more or less how I did mine. Just went ahead and checked lots of loaders in person on farm shows and other events, to get an idea on how it's put together, thickness of materials used, cylinder placement and sizing, hoses, etc. Did take some pictures but didn't really take any measurements.

Another trick I used was to find a picture of another tractor like mine that had already a loader, import the picture to a CAD software, scaling it properly, and then get all the dimensions I needed. Won't be fully dead on but will be perfectly close enough.

In the end, came out with my own CAD model to make sure I had all the right geometry, clearances, strokes, etc.

If you have a good picture to start with that can work quite well. I have done this myself. Sometimes, because the scaling difference is so large, big corrections need to be made. However, some pictures are done so well that careful scaling can result in dimensions accurate to within less than 1mm, or about 1/32".

Related question: I have a FEL on my Case 24DXe (model 110 FEL). Sometime back I did something wrong and now the right side of the bucket is lower than the left. How do I fix this so the bucket will be even? Should I try to shim under the right mount where it attaches to the tractor? Or is there a better way to resolve this issue?

NO one can answer that question without seeing either pictures, or taking some measurements to see just where something is bent. And I'd start a new thread about it

There's no question that the Euro is a superior QA, I have it on two loaders and I much prefer it.
