Just Another.......Fathers Day

Well, I was up in Vt for the weekend but Kathleen was home taking care of things at the Ct home. I was up in Vt, takin care of the lawn etc. Kathleen calls me up to tell me to come home early for fathersday ! OK Dear I will be home early.

Get home early afternoon and Kathleen informs me I have to cook on the grill for both boys and their girlfriends, my parents and my future daughter-in laws parents !!!

Menu will be marinated salmon, chicken and a london broil.

Well, here is a pic just after I got everything off the grill !

You guessed it, the salmon marinade oil based, caught fire !!!

Here is my Mom and Pop, both 81 and lookin better than me. They were unfazed by my Three Alarmer !!! And my future daughter-in law to the left. The old bald guy by the grill would be me !!! Pop, what happened to my hair ???

Yep, the rest of the day went fine and the salmon was great ! No complaints on the food !

Hey, I thought WE were sposta get the royal treatment on Father's day and
let somebody else blow up the BBQ pit!!
My wife flew my daughter in from Florida w/o my knowledge for father's day. Best one I've had in many years.

Well, the wife wanted the boys to do the grillin, but I thought that it best to do it myself considering all the food and people at stake :")

The girls did the dishes anyway :")

Hey Scott, Nothing wrong with a few carcinagens (sp). Your Father's Day turned out much better than mine did. I'll be posting the story in the Rural Section as we don't have a Travel Section. I think a topic section for vacations would be nice so people could be forewarned of places like Vancouver, B.C.
