I caught the blue saw on sale 50% off, at well under $200 shipped I have some room to make changes as required. I'm not at your level but been a wrench turner all my life. I can tune and have tools required. I may get beat up but I could install the new top end parts and still be ahead. I figure I'll run it and go from there......

Forgot I picked this up before I had to do that guys G372xp pro. 1983 266 SE before they went XP later on.

Lost track how many husqvarna 266 I bought to flip now. Coarse thread clutch that is hard to find.

Missing some parts and seller kept the muffler bracket on me. Wasnt as shown but dont care. Just for parts or quick flip.

Pretty clean with some scoring started.

Got a good laugh. Couldnt figure out why bar studs were loose when looked over quickly. Figured typical worn case.
But no the guy didnt have the studs in right lined up inside tank. Took care of that yesterday for next owner.

Good saw. Used to have a 266se before it was stolen about 15 years ago. Had it and my 7900 dolmar. Both stolen.

The 266 was a good runner for an old saw.

They had several different combo's pistons, mufflers, cylinders, prob carbs never checked, I noticed over the years. Owned a first year one and a later xp ones.

I had always heard the early 36cc poulan saws were indeed 36cc. Not 42cc. So I bought this one with the other plastic one I wanted just to see if so.

Measured bore and stroke yesterday and it is 36cc. Type 1-5 by IPL is 36cc by ring used and 6 up was then 42cc.

Most of the plastic poulans I had over the years that would say 35cc 38cc were all 42cc. So I just always thought the early 36cc would be same.

This one 1999 Type-2 Poulan 2175 wild thing. I always liked the 2375 42cc one the best of all the wild things. If had to have one.

Another one of those plastic saws 46cc by poulan like the plastic stihl 025 250. But can get them cheap because of the name and folks have no clue about the same.

Picked up dirt cheap not running right past owner said. Betting just needs fuel line and carb cleaned out. Filter was off inside tank.

Just to flip like I do the 025 250 or part out if not.
