I would have thought 6v LEDs would be a snap but have had trouble finding them. I also have a 6 volt positive ground tractor. But I did find some you tube videos on making them out of parts.

Cup holder? A little steel or PVC should solve that problem
Or a big shirt pocket for cold beverage. Or look at marine cup holders. They have gimbles to keep them upright with the pitch of the boat.

Well if you tip your tractor on its side you got enough problems without spilling your coffee to boot.

One of my 4wheelin buddies uses a Snap-On magnetic can coolie. Pretty slick idea, but does nothing for spills.

He smokes. First time I saw his coolie he walked up to my buggy and stuck it on a vertical cage pipe so he could light up. I don't get out much. I'd never saw anything like that!!!! :drink:

Congratulations on the purchase of your tractor. Hope you get a lot of good use out of it.

Congrats on your new tractor. Since you haven't stated weather your tractor has a ORC or DDC trans and you haven't got the manuals yet a word of caution should be taken if your trans has not been switch out to the later style DDC trans it would have came with the earlier ORC trans. there should be some diagonal slash marks on the shifter indicator thru gears 1,2,5,6 and 9 are freewheeling gears and will not hold the tractor back as a brake on down grades. Using the proper gears on a down grade will be an effective brake. A fully loaded hay wagon and the wrong gear going downhill can get you in trouble fast.
If your tractor was in the recall prior to serial number 97341 there will be a tracting number in the same location on the bellhousing but it will be on the oppisit side of the trans.
There was an exchange program in the mid 60's where you could exchange your ORC trans for a DDC trans. As soundguy said #'s on the cases are different.

Thanks, I will check the tranny type as soon as I can get to it this weekend. I have the owners manual and read that info on the free-wheeling gears, but thanks for the reminder. Good thing is that my land is pretty flat.

Looks like my tranny is the ORC style.

be aware of that if ever going down hill or unloading from a dovetail trailer in a or gear range. :)
