Backhoe Just bought a Bobcat ct440 with loader and 7tb backhoe

Just wondered if anyone on here has had any experience with the 7tb backhoe. When I made the deal the price he gave me was including the 7tb, but now that I have read the specs on both I'm wondering if I need to rethink my purchase and go with the larger backhoe (8tb). Bucket dig force on the 7tb is 2827 pounds, diperstick is 2022 pounds. The 8tb has bucket force at 4156 pounds, dipperstick at 2183 pounds. Is this going to make a huge difference other than the extra 12 inches digging depth? They both weigh within 100 pounds of each other. Any input is appreciated.

Derek, first off welcome to the Bobcat family!! I guess you need to call yr dealer and actually see what the $money diff is bewteen the 2 hoes, that might just make yr mind up.

Take some pictures of yr 440 and stuff
