Accidently made this post in pricing..Im new...anyway just bought this tractor off of my neighbor for $5500. Its a 1995 4wd with MMM and rear blade and 412 hrs. I bought the imatch too. I am new to this site and have happily put it in my favorites. I have been reading on here for 3 hours. The mmm deck belt seems to be getting very hot as does the pullies is this normal? I dont see any grease fittings on the 60" deck.
I want to get a loader for it, will the new 200cx loader fit?
Also what is best to use to push snow, the rear blade or the new front loader im goona get?
Will this tractor run a sp0iltter and a tiller. Thanks to all and look forward to your replies. Todd

Great looking machine, Todd! I'd say you did well.

That's likely the same deck as on my 755. There are grease fittings on each spindle, accessible from the top. Undo those cover plates and you'll also see zerks on the tension idler. The first belt on mine lasted about 12 years.

Best snow removal tool is a matter of opinion and how much you want to spend. An FEL is likely not it, although it was my only snow tool for about 10 years of New England winters. If you want to move lots of snow quickly, the FEL isn't it, but it'll give you seat time.:D

I'm sure there'll be other opinions along shortly. Welcome to TBN!

Welcome! That's a great looking tractor, looks like it was well cared for. I can't help with the loader question but it will run a tiller fine. With 18HP (16 PTO HP) I'd think something in the 48" range would do.

As far as a splitter goes, hard to tell from the pics but it looks like it has a "power beyond" kit installed. The hose on back that loops around to itself. Should have a yellow tag on it talking about using an open center valve and not to run the tractor without it connected to itself or a control valve. If that is what I see that's what you need to run a splitter. It might be a little slow but should do the trick.

Congrats and enjoy:D

FEL =Front end loader...got it. Yes he insatlled a power after . Is it just an extra hydraulic line? What does it do? I'd like to say Im a city boy, but just a regular guy that never grew up around tractors. thanks.

Sorry for not explaining FEL.

I wouldn't worry too much about belts and pulleys getting hot, unless there's smoke coming off them. Do grease those spindles, though.

Many on here swear by their rear blades for snow removal. I can't comment, since I just bought my rear blade this spring. The loader is useful for piling it up, though. Suggest you add your location to your profile.

As for splitter, i'm one of those that would rather have a splitter with its own engine than to run the tractor to power it. You'll have plenty of power for a splitter- heck, my splitter has a 5 hp Briggs and splits or shreds anything I feed it. When I'm splitting wood, I like to throw it in the trailer and haul it to the shed when full, rather than pile it on the ground and handle it again. A splitter on the back wouldn't let you do that, unless you have a different vehicle to move it with (or flat property where you move a wheelbarrow at a time-yuck.

That power beyond gives you hydraulics at the back so you are almost ready for a splitter or a small backhoe, or top 'n tilt. (i'll let you look up the t 'n t as a contribution to your tractor education :)

Very nice machine. I think I saw a 670 once wearing a 67 loader from JD???? Might be hard to find. Especially in the condition your tractor is in. (I wish my 770 looked like that) I think I also have seen 755s wearing the same 67 loader. I would search the internet. I would not rule out finding one.
