I'm 6'3 @ 225lbs, not real huge, and found the Cab cozy at best tight at worst.

I just got back from the Kioti dealer to buy an oil filter and I sat in the 55 and 65 cabs. The 45 and 55 are almost identical in size inside which makes sense, same size frame and engine, the 65 cab was spacious. lots of room and had a cup holder and you could swing your arms around without hitting anything. They had a 25 with a Lauerin (sp) cab, that thing was huge but looked strange sitting on a tractor of that size. I sat in it and I think it had more room than my 45 does. Kioti has a great lineup of tractors now, the fit and finish on all the machines was excellent and the dealer must be plannning on selling a bunch because he had enough of them on his lot. He has a large building where he sells and services equipment, a dealership that would match any other brand in our part of Pa.

Congrats. My 45S is working nicely, had one problem dealt with by Kioti, other than that, it's a real work horse.

Well as far as a name...:D

I thought seeing that our Kioti tractors are assembled in India. Not to far from where the under 100 hp? John Deare tractors are assembled. I think a bright red dot on the forehead (Bindi) name would be right in-line.

Religious significance:
The area between the eyebrows (where the bindi is placed) is said to be the sixth chakra, agni, the seat of "concealed wisdom". According to followers of Tantrism, this chakra is the exit point for kundalini energy. The bindi is said to retain energy and strengthen concentration. [1]. It is also said to protect against demons or bad luck.

As far as the bad luck and demons go.... I read in past forms of the needed things in the Kioti tool box.

I second the idea of some bailing wire or even use some safety wire. I know now that its a very good idea to wire off, or better yet use SS bolts with Nylon Lock Nuts. On all of those pesky pins that seem to pop off when they are snagged.:p

On a positive note the Kioti diesel engine seems to use very little fuel. The engine runs very clean with little or no smoke.

It's a little loud on the ears, but nothing like my gas powered Husky 48" mower. At the worst I will wear ear plugs to save what little hearing I do have.
I tried to download better pictures of my new Bindi, but for some reason the images were a no go. IMHO

Actually Kioti tractors are built in South Korea.

I added a Kioti canopy to my DK a few years ago and it made the tractor seem much louder. The motor noise echos down off the roof.
I put insulation on my canopy and it did quite it down somewhat.

As for the reason that I went with the Kioti DK45S.

We need to clear, then maintain 20 acres of over grown saw pamentos and assorted different types of bushes and ground cover. More of the stuff that you see on both sides in the last posted picture.

After it is all cleared we will plant a few thousand new trees to be grown as timber / agriculture.

Here in north central Florida we have a lot of sugar sand. Or as my next door neighbor jokingly said, the state soil of Florida is sand!

With the Ag tires on the DK45S you need to real careful that you disturb as little soil / sand while working as possible.

A few last notes about buying a new Tractor: try to buy your Tractor from a full stocking dealer. That is one that has all of the implements and Tractors in stock. Unless you want to buy on price a lone. Then it seems that you get what you get.

When it was all said and done, the thirty six month zero interest Kioti loan was very fair. With very few small added costs. The required insurance was offered for less than $600.00 for three years. Which is a much much better deal than adding it to our home owners insurance.

Looks like you have the industrial tires rather than AG - I may have missed it in an earlier thread - the above may be the reason you wen with the R4s
