I just purchased a new 2305. It's getting delivered saturday morning. Nervous that this will not be able to do what i need it to do. I mow about 3acres which I feel will be no issue. My real concern is blowing snow. I purchased it with 47" blower, 62" deck and a 200cx bucket. I live South of Buffalo in snow country. Anyone with some experience on how well these work would be great! Thanks in advance for the info.

Don't be nervous. I live in snow country too and my orange cousin is smaller than your new to arrive 2305. You won't have a bit of issues with the snow.

I don't even use chains, although my terrain is pretty level and I am on gravel. I do use wheel weights, and you might consider ballast off the 3 pt of some kind. Usable rear ballast is a back blade. Highly recommend one, just for the utility. Cheap too.

BTW, I do plow in 4 wheel drive. That's pretty much a given for anything over just a skiff of snow. Congrats on the new machine!!!

I live in SE PA with identical setup, exception being I have a Curtis Cab. The 2305 with 47" snow-blower is great.....that's all I can say!

A new 2305 with a 54" snowblower would be greater ;)

I wouldn't worry too much about your setup, you should be fine.

Might think about some warm clothes for this though.

Enjoy your new tractor.:D

Shouldn't be a problem.

Congrats! That machine will do more than you've bargained for. You'll notice that not long after you get it home... Some things may take longer than others, but it will get done and you won't be sore afterwards!

Welcome to the forum.

Happy days are coming. The 2305 is capable of doing a lot of things in your yard. When snow blowing I like to have chains and some weight on the back. Sometimes it is a 6 foot rear blade and other times it is six suitcase weights.

Enjoy, if you have a concrete drive with slope you most likely will need chains.
As someone else said some rear ballast helps also.. This past winter I was impressed with the amount of snow the 2305 will handle..
Good luck.

I don't need chains because i ordered 4wd for my 2305. Had a 425 2wd and used rubber chains, worked great and never scarred blacktop.
