My TC-40D was delivered on a cold winter day this past November. As the dealer unloaded it and we stood outside getting instructions I noticed that my teeth were chattering from the cold.
When we finally came inside to get a cup of coffee, warm up, and do the paperwork I then noticed that it was the adrenaline rush that was making my teeth chatter, not the cold as I originally had thought. We all had a good laugh at that. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Excited, no I wasn't excited but my body sure was!

In July it was a perfect day at work I was outside weed whipping in front of the JD store and a semi with a 5205, 4000 series, and my 990 at the back of the trailer. My boss came and got me and let me drive it right off the semi truck. What a day! Drove it home from work then walked 2 miles back into work to get my car.

Paid for it and drove it home. The dealer is omly 2 miles away.

I had mine shipped up from Florida, and it was delivered to a JD dealer 26 miles away because they had that ramp thingy that could unload my tractor off of the flatbed.
It was about 28 degrees that morning and I had to drive my tractor those 26 miles to my property. At 18 miles per hour in an open cab -- Brrrr....

It was a dark and stormy night when out of the inky shadows a truck with lights flashing pulls to a stop in front of the house.
Well, it was a dark morning with occasional rolls of thunder with the rain pouring down. I was a little concerned that the delivery would not happen because of the rain. When the truck pulled up I noticed it was a ramp truck and thought right away that is going to be one slick slide when it gets tipped to the drive off position.
I had a spot in the barn ready to drive the tractor into for the do's and don't's. It was a good thing it was raining it made going to work much easier. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

When mine came home it was also raining. The wife got home and I had it sitting in the garage she looked at it told me to show her what everything did and how to work it and she took off mowing in the rain and by this time the dark also. She said something like well the grass is good and wet lets see if it has the power you said it did

Nope -- I picked mine up as well. Had the tractor (TC45)w/loader, woods BB600, Woods boxblade, and PHD all loaded behind my poor lil' F150. Had to take the long way home 'cause there was no way I could've pulled that up a hump called "rocky hill" - short but steep - . Off loading the tractor the first thing to happen was getting the ROPS hung up on an oak limb just enough to raise the front tires up. Lowered the ROPS and have hardly ever raised it since. Too many low limbs where I work it.
