The biggest thing about having a long snow season is the extra feed you have to put up for livestock to make it through and the extra work feeding it out.

I must admit - I would be happy burning just one cord a year. 4-5 gets old quick.

No insect ridden wood here, We roast corn, have for 15 years now. Well, this year is wood pellets, Corn is too high.
