just found a skid steer forum

I swing by at least once a day to see if anything needs fixed or answered. It is rather user hateful, I guess that would be the opposite of user friendly.
You can do pics, paragraphs and formatting, but you have to code in all of the html, like building a webpage in notepad. The owner, who is seldom seen or heard from, is a software developer, so that could be why it doesn't look like anything you've ever seen, it's a custom design.
Yep, I was just on there, Dan. I always pick up some knowledge from your replies. You, Tazza, Mike 10 and others are real helpful. Opposite of user friendly? For sure, I have to re-log in with password and all every time I go there.

The idea of a specific Skid Steer forum has a lot of potential, but that is not being developed there!
Yep, I wish it was better run and more popular. I'm retired but was a lifelong heavy truck/diesel & to a lesser extent equipment mechanic but skid steers are a whole different animal completely. After winter before last, snow was so deep, we bought a used 2010 New Holland but I also go to all the other brands on that forum to gain knowledge about common problems that occur. I assumed nothing would be more mechanically basic (crude) than a skid steer but, Holy Crap, I find it's got more computerized electronics than a new Cadillac. :)
