Just Got My 4100 !!!

Hi All,
I just got my new JD 4100! Well new to me anyway, its got a 410 loader and 60" MMM with 327 hrs. Turf tires, Gear, with shuttle shift for 2 forward speeds and one reverse. I was really debating on whether to get this one or a new 790. Thanks to all the reading I've done on here, though the 790 is a beautiful machine, I couldn't turn down the 4100 and I'm very happy so far.
Anyone have any ideas where I can get a shop and service manual?

Congrats. I've had mine for 5 years now (equipped just like yours, except I have R4 tires). This machine has never dissapointed me, although thaere are days when I wished that I had a little larger machine. But overall, this is a **** of a machine for the money. I'd advise you to reverse you rear tires -it gives you a wider stance and makes it more stable. The tractor is a bit light weight, so always have some pretty good ballast on the 3 pth before using the loader.

You can download the manual off JDParts if I remember correctly and purchase one. My 4100 has been a great machine. Close to 4 years without a hiccup, minus the leaking JD battery that has plagued all 4000 series models. Check out your battery compartment and look for leaks. You may have to buy an Optima. Thanks for the info guys, I will check into the battery leakage and see into reversing my tires. My tires are loaded but you can't be too safe when moving with a loaded bucket!
