No that price did NOT include installation. If you have any mechanical skill at all you can install them in 3 to 4 hours.

"Pineridge" has a very good write up on how to install the remotes with great pictures. I'm not so good with this computer stuff or I would give you a link to click on....sorry.

Well I have got good news and bad news. I spoke with our NH rep today and he thought that was a little weird as well. He dug into it and sent me the following email just a little while ago. Product and Pricing Bulletin # 05-108A corrected the price of the Position #1 valve to equal that of position #2 and #3. So that is the bad news the #1 valve is just as expensive as the #2 and #3! Good news is that you are correct the pricing is wrong just not in the direction we wanted.

I did not know about the price correction and our rep did not know about the price correction. We get so many of those that some slip thru the cracks. I would be willing to bet that if you pointed this out to the dealer the good will factor may go a long way in getting him to honor the price.

Bob, do you have a Case dealer close? See if he will sell you the kits for a DX40? Just don't let him know your tractor is blue. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I looked at Case's list price for remotes in mid-2005 and they were $259 for the first one and $219 each for the next two. Wouldn't it be a hoot if you could get them at that price? /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I'm adding two remotes to my Kioti CK30 and thought the price was high. $275 for the first and $375 for the second but now I see it's somewhat reasonable in comparison to the Case. I hope you can get yours at the lower price instead of what the Rep. mentioned.

I just got the fax. The price is now $503 for the first remote. that is about $150 in one week. The prices on everything else that they quoted me is also different.

The rear remote on my Case DX35 purchased in 2004 was $250 installed.

The DX 40 is the same as the NH 40?
I'm still waiting on a price however. These dealers are amazing! Their customer service SUCK! No one is in a hurry to get to you. I called yesterday and am still waiting to get a price. I called back this morning and was told I gave it to the salesman, he'll get back to you when he finds something out.
IT seems that these kits are sold through whole goods and not the parts dept. This is the case for both NH and CAse.
