In the "good old days" - 15 to 20 years ago - we would get powder snow. A leaf blower would probably have done a good job. Now - all we get is wet slop. Usually one to three inches that melts in a couple days.
Friends grow grapes in Washington and say every year it just gets better…I haven't had to deal with snow in over five years. We can get up to 3 or 4 inches - it will all be melted in a couple days. Except in the shaded areas.
It's a fact. Every winter for the last eight years has been progressively warmer. Pretty soon I can replace the apple trees with bananas.
