JUST NOT FAIR

DannyD,
Hows life in Georgetown now? I grew up there, specifically on Old Lanesville Rd, dont remember the address off hand.
I havent been back to visit Georgetown for 10 years now and havent actually lived there for more than 20 years.
I dont suppose you would mind snapping some pics of my old house would you? It was the red brick ranch, black roof, 2 car attached garage, asphalt circular drive, sitting close to the road, about 2/10 mile up Old Lanesville Rd on the right side just before the sharp right turn.
You probably know but just incase theyve changed the road names or something. Old Lanesville Rd is off of Georgetown-Lanesville Rd which is sort of across from city hall off of SR64. Go under the rail road bridge and over the creek (I think Ive got that right) and the next road on the right is Old Lanesville.
Man this is bringing back some memories.

Hey, Junkman, good luck with the tulips and daffs! I have 800 red tulips in the back yard and they're outstanding for a few weeks. But I thought both tulips and daffodils needed 12 weeks in the ground with sub-freezing cold weather before they can flower??? Hope you haven't delayed warm weather until mid-July!!! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif If they don't flower this year, maybe next!

I have heard this before, but as long as they don't rot in the ground, I will be happy to see flowers next year.... thanks for the information....

Junkman,
Of course you could have 'cheated' the freeze thing by tossing them in the deep freeze over the winter or storing them in an unheated outbuilding before planting in the spring.

Hope they turn out for you. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
