Just Ordered 2710

I just placed an order for a 2710 with R4's, loader, 72" mid-mower, and a 72" rear blade. I previously posted that I was going to purchase a 2410, however the dealer talked me into waiting on a rear tiller and put the extra money into the bigger tractor and deck. I wanted a "fresh" tractor, no dull paint or rust, and the dealer is telling me that delivery will be about 30 days. Does that sound reasonable? He said the snag right now is the deck. The best adivice I can give is to find a good dealer, ask lots of questions, follow all the postings here, and remember one thing, "buy the biggest tractor you can afford". Thanks Bird!!!

30 days sounds about right in this area if the dealer doesn't have one setting on the lot.
Heck there been some gentleman waited 3 months plus for there Kubota./w3tcompact/icons/crazy.gif

So its safe to say the next 30 days your going to be planning..reading..clean out a place for the B2710 plus the goodies..visiting the dealer more often..day dreaming about the B2710 and trying to sleep at night./w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Sounds like a nice rig./w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif When I bought mine, the tractor was sitting on the dealer's lot, but I think it took nearly 3 weeks for him to get the front end loader for it. Once I make up my mind to buy something, I want it NOW, but sometimes that ain't possible./w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

When I got my 2710 they had 2 on the lot with loaders already installed. One had R1s and the other had R4s. I went for the R4s. Great tractor. If it would rain and the grass would grow maybe I could mow something. I've move the same pile of dirt back and forth over my property all summer. The tractor is collecting dust in the garage right now, what a shame.

Alan, You close to Syracuse NY?? I have about 4 more acres of field to bushog before winter and you'd be MORE than welcome to come down and do it if you're looking for some seat time! When I ordered my tractor, the dealer got me an owners manual for the tractor and loader and I ordered the shop manual and parts manual. During the couple of weeks, had a lot of time to read the manuals very carefully.

I would like to have taken Bird's advise about getting the biggest tractor, but had to settle for a M6800SD 4WD. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
