Good to see someone on here that knows these Chinese tractors. I've owned a Jinma354 for 3 years and the only parts that I've replaced are one lift shaft. The TY395 maybe the best diesel engine i've owned. How many horses can you get out of these engines? Soon as an old neighbor farmer saw my 354 he said that looks like an old perkins diesel engine. Is that right? )</font>
Yup is in the Perkins ball park.
custom ground cams
special made pistons
modified Banks turbo
Mack injectors
custom built rods
enlarged valves and pockets and ports.
and a few other little tricks
= 1 is 69 hp the other 72 hp on a dyno
they were built because they said it couldn't be done and they would fall apart. 43 pulls for 1 and 29 for the other and still going strong.
The one will pull the sled the distance in its class, but will burn about 1 gallon of fuel in 300 feet /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
