Decided to fab up a sacrificial wear bar for clearing snow this weekend.

So i went for the graham crackers , strawberry jam and frozen yogert
I'll have to nap and finish later.

Thank you,
I put the ends on tonight, drill all the holes for the bucket and primered the top side.

THE WELDS LOOK GOOD. WHY NOT JUST DRILL HOLES IN BUCKET AND MAKE IT SO ITS REVERSIBLE AND REPLACEABLE.?

my thoughts were to only use it only when plowing snow not when working in dirt etc.
I do so much plowing for myself and other neighbors I would wear the edge very quickly.
It can't be reversed. the tabs allow the cutting edge to come in from one side only.
but
I think that when it starts showing signs of significant wear i could tack weld a new skin to the bottom
or
I could tack a second skin now and when it gets thin grind off the thin layer and tack on a new strip.
this is only 3/8" thick, the one I saw on-line was 5/8" thick.
Thanks for the thoughts .
I think i'll add 1/4" skin to the bottom and maybe replace it every year.
