So far the only attachments I have are my pallet forks, ratchet rake, and drawbar with a 2" ball if that even counts.
I'd love to have a grapple, but I think for what I do, forks will always be a "good enough substitute". Especially when I get "the thumb" on them.
With my filled tires and wheel weights so far the tractor is doing well without extra rear ballast. I moved some decking boards I had stacked up from one location to another with my forks. Over the course of moving that bundle (took a few trips) it felt a little sketchy. I'm working hard on saving for a box blade so that will serve as rear ballast once I get it.
I'm finding that with some weight in the bucket, and my RR angled right with the loader in float I can do a pretty job grading with it. It's a little more forgiving on this newb than trying to do some fine grading work with just the bucket. Yes, those are headstones
. My wife's granddad was a mortician/funeral director (and used to own this property). We have blemished headstones and stuff like that everywhere
.
I spread 120 bales of pine needles this past weekend. I hauled most of them on my 5x10 trailer and used the tractor to haul the trailer of needles around keeping them close by. I love being able to back up, raise the 3ph, I can lock the coupler down from the tractor seat, and start hauling. When I'm done let the 3ph down and drive off!
