This morning I purchased a new 4010. It was the last one left and was sitting in the showroom. I gave $13,032 for the tractor, 410 FEL and a 4' box blade. The discounts were very helpful, $800 off the tractor and $100 off the FEL. The dealership will put it all together, load the tires, and deliver it next week. I can't wait. Pictures will be posted when it gets home. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Here's mine, a little over a year old. This is in the basement of the carriage house. Sold the Gravely; so, it's up in the main floor of the carriage house now. The 4010 with fixed ROPS goes underneath garage doors and through regular double doors.

That's an old JD M soil ripper plus some disc hillers and converted to 3 pt over to the left. Haven't used it since I painted it. Used it last fall to rip up the garden and in the spring to make raised rows. Now, I've both the plows and the discs in place and call it my Row Maintenance rig. The 4010 pulls it. The old M was 18 hp, too, but at least twice as heavy but only 2wd.

Uses a pretty consistent 0.5 gallon/hr of fuel, a tad shy of that.

Oops! That pic was taken before I got the soil ripper. Tractor wasn't very old at that point.

Here's the soil ripper.

Ralph,

Now all of your posts are suspect; that bucket of yours hasn't ever been used! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Just funning; all of ours were new at one time! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Ralph, where did you get that toothbar?

My tractor will be similar, but with R4 tires and a folding ROPS.

I bought mine with fixed ROPS after first measuring their height to be sure they'd fit underneath the garage door. I KNEW I'd forget to lower the ROPS sometime and rip something. As it was, I had to move the inside handle higher on the garage door.

Bought the toothbar from the dealer. Don't know what make it is. It slips over the front lip of the bucket and bolts at the side with large bolts. 'Twas about $300. Only really used it once, to dig up some fresh asphalt that got poured over the line onto the neighbor's property. Worked great for that. There's a big rock pile down below from long ago when they built a roadway across my property into town. Some day, I'm going to attack that with the toothbar.

Rick,

Markham makes an excellent toothbar, if i remember correctly, it was $299 for my 53" bucket. And it does dig! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
