I will look when I go home. I'm at work until 5pm. There is a plate rivited to the bottom of the housing behind the bell housing I think. it's super dirty. Would the put it under the tractor? I have to crawl under it to clean and read it.
OK Last night I pulled the dashboard apart as much as I could. I need to tear it down a bit more tonight and try to open the dash up completely. I think I need to remove the steering wheel and the throttle leaver to do this properly. Hopefully then I can flip the dash up and see all of the wiring to trace & fix issues. Many of my switches are destroyed so I will replace them with new ones if needed.
OK my question is regarding the glow plug switch. It appears to be the far left rusted out circular thing, to the left of the black starter (ignition) button. I imagine it had a plunger or something at one time to operate the glow plug switch. So what's the source for this switch? I see the wire path leading from post #2 of this switch to post #1 of the glow plug meter directly and hopefully after I open the dash better tonight, I can follow that path down from post #2 of the glow plug meter directly to the glow plugs. So what does Post #1 of this rusty old switch normally attach to? I'm assuming a positive battery source, probably upwards of 30 amps, but not 100% positive. I say 30 amps because I found the 30 amp fuse (blown) but will know more once I trace that too! Hopefully I can find the mystery wire once I get the dash opened.
Also what' the silver button down and slightly right of the ignition key? Any ideas?
