Just Something Stupid I Did

Just thought I'd pass this along. Just something stupid I did a while ago but just found the pictures. After digging a pond and filling it with water (about 4' deep, 6' wide and 6' long) someone told me if I put fish in it I would have to take care of them. Didn't want to do that so I filled it in. But why would I pump the water out first? If I did then it wouldn't have been muck and this would never have happened. I thought I would need a helicopter to get it out but after laughing my ..s of for a couple of hours I called a buddy with a brand spanking new F250 Diesel 4x4, after a little digging around the tires, that Ford walked that baby right out of there. Took about 3 days to power wash the mud out. If you can't laugh at this stuff then your in the wrong business.

That is what I would call being stuck BIG TIME. I am glad everything turn out OK in the end.

So you went out and dug a hole, the filled with water, and then put the dirt back in hole, and then tried to drive over it?

Wow. That will be a wet spot for a long time.

Yep...you were stuck.

We call that "quicksand"... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif...Glad it came out easy, I remember doing stuff like that with our trucks when I was growing up. Of course we did it on purpose to see if we could make it. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Just to clarify. I didn't drive over the hole, I was pushing dirt in with the box scraper and went just a little bit to far and got sucked in. The box scraper was down but I lifted it after I went in. I said I was stupid but not real stupid.

That was great. I needed a laugh today. I set my TN down that far but with all 4 wheels buried. I was hooked to a 12' disc and found out there was no bottom to this one spot. Had my neighbor come over with his bigger tractor and he pulled my rig (with disc) out.

Had some fun today. The custom harvester came over to finally harvest my corn. Here are a couple pics since we are talking about mud (some nice weather we had today wasn't it /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif)
