Just starting negotiations on compact tractor. Guidance

Just discovered how much less crap is on the 1025r than the 2032r. Specifically don't want to mess with regen.

Maybe buy a used tractor?
No regen.

My Kioti 2610 HST has no regen... and its a good large sized CUT. Surely someone of you favorites carry something comparable? Large frame 25 horse CUT?

But you may need even bigger than that for what you want to do.. but yet you seem to be considering smaller.

What hay bales do you feed? We only feed small squares so not an issue. But if you feed rounds or large squares then get enough fel capacity.

My little new holland is plenty of tractor for what you are talking about except the digging. Look at if it makes more sense to rent something to do that work.

Since you got a price on Kubota B3350, get price on B2650 just as capable less the pto power you don't need and w/o the extra cost of tier 4 final b.s. (bad stuff)!

No matter the brand, I would suggest cut or even large cut in your situation rather than scut, but in any event good luck with your decision.

Negotiate as hard as you can on the tractor, FEL and BH to get the dealer's best price. Then try to get the dealer to throw in extras at reduced or no cost. Such as chain hooks on the FEL bucket, double or triple rear hydraulic remotes, sunshade, maintenance and parts manuals, front/rear tire discounts, baseball cap(s), etc.

Good luck

Well, the 2025r is exactly that, I thought. A large frame 25 hp model that gets under the bs.

But apparently it runs the same backhoe as the 1025r and not the 3032r.

Makes it hard to not just go to the 1025r, but at least I'd still have the bigger loader.

Not sure how ill proceed. Would buy used but you have to go pretty old before it makes sense financially.

300 hours and 6 or 7 years old and the cost differential vs new just isn't enough. Especially with Deere and Kubota.

We just feed little Square bales. Not an issue there.

I've considered renting a mini ex, but just want to be able to take my time and continually improve things and do my projects. As opposed to having to rent something and try and squeeze everything in.

That's good to know. I didn't realize the b2650 accomplishes what I'm wanting to do.

The 2650 is not 26hp? I'm under the impression 25hp is the cutoff.

If this is the case, I'm off to research as that'll move it to the top of my list.

If you want a heavier frame then check out L2501 too. Footprint about the same as B2650. Both are rated under the tier four final stuff. The 2650 has a few more features than the 2501. I would suggest you get the FEL SS q/a rather than the older style Kubota proprietary q/a on either.

If you do get a BH with either these units it will be the BH77 which has full bucket rotation and full 180 swing with decent power for it's size. B2650 would have swivel seat and L2501 would have separate seat, so not as compact.

It's pretty easy to find all specs online between the two.
