Thanks, The square ones are like my old ones on the Sears garden tractor. I have never seen the spool type. Do you happen to know a web site that might have these?

That Cub Cadet link in my post has them, but they're very expensive.

The 1845's use a spacer exactly like the one in the cub cadet picture. PT uses 4" threaded studs attached to the motor hub. The inner wheel is attached to the studs with nuts. One end of the spacer has a lip to fit over these nuts and allow the spacer to touch the inner wheel. Additional nuts hold the spacer to the studs. The other end is threaded to secure the outer wheel. Heres the order of assembly: 1) inner wheel, 2) nuts, 3) spacer, 4) more nuts, 5) outer wheel, 6) chamfered cap screws.
