Anybody could stick the ladder in the bucket and climb up, this was a power pruner on steroids !

Are you folk suggesting that isn't safe? I thought it was a great idea and was going to give it a try ... if I can only figure out how I can also rotate the saw!!!

He needs another rope so he can extend the ladder from his seat...

now if he would just have mounted the saw on the bottom rail of the ladder he could get the cutting bar on the limb without the ladder interfering
