Hello,

New to forum, not new to the issues. ;-)

Thinking about tackling repairs myself. Need to brush-hog my fields this year, no horses.

Lift assembly chamber (under seat), sits on top of transmission or main shaft case, etc.

New pump works fine that is mounted behind seat.

Fill lift assembly chamber from top, start it up, pump works, bucket lifts, mower deck lifts, then hydraulic fluid slowly leaves lift assembly chamber and starts to leak out by the gear shift boot below. Knowing that may or may not be a huge issue, e.g. if the fluid below is at normal level, no leaky out of the shift boot. But, let me know if anyone thinks that is an issue.

I am thinking and hoping that it may just be a seal or o-ring inside the lift assembly chamber that can be replaced? Something I can do by removing the seat and cover? Does the whole lift assembly chamber have to be removed?

Any help is much appreciated.

I have read many conversations on this site, which have helped me to have a much better understanding of my tractor, parts, and how everything works. But, still have a lot to learn.

Thanks - Alan.
