Another small issue. After using the FEL and the 3PH, I noted Hydro fluid spouting from the over flow behind the seat.

Is this just a case of a little over full or..what? Have not found the dip stick yet. I think I'll run an overflow tube the divert the flow, bit messy.

Aside from an overful condition, it is possible to overflow the hydraulic tank if the loader is lowered with the engine not running, the cylinders bleen oil back to the resevoir, but the oil is not pumped back to the opposite side of the cylinders so the level raises, also steep inclines can slosh the oil to one side of the tank and spew a little out. Be sure it is not foamy, which would indicate a leak on the suction line somewhere, the air bubles increase the volume of the oil and...overflow...

Unscrew the vent (what you call overflow). Dipstick is attached.

My Jinmas spewed what seemed like gallons from that vent. The seller's "mechanics" spent hours; replacing pumps, tracking down non-existent air leaks, et cetera, before basically giving up. Soon as I drained the OE fluid - flushed - and refilled with non-foaming AW32, all that spewing simply quit. After that the biggest mess I had to wipe up, was whatever I spilled myself when periodically topping up the hydraulic fluid level.

To give more details. In both cases, I lowered the FEL and 3PH after the tractor was off. With regards to the FEL, I pull the tractor in the garage and shut it down. Then I lower the FEL. In the case of the 3PH, no attachment was there so I had to apply hand force down to get it to drop.

There were bubbles but, not foam. I will keep an eye on it and lower with engine running next time. Hydro/FEL is strong, lifts front end easy.

lowering a few inches should not cause a problem, using "float" will allow the oil to return to the other side of the piston rather than dumping it all into the tank without the pump taking any out.

Sounds like it was just overfilled and when the fluid warmed and expanded it didnt fit with everything bled out in the lowest position
